Special Education Practicum Experience
In the spring of 2019, I spent 45 hours in Cathy Dirk's Learning Disabilities (LD) classroom at Dorothy Moses Elementary School. During this time I was involved in many classroom activities with small groups and individual students. I was able to teach a math lesson to an individual student. I had the opportunity to attend an IEP meeting and help Mrs. Dirk monitor student progress.

Business Education Practicum Experiences
In the fall of 2018, I spent 30 hours in Eileen Larson's Business Education classroom at St. Mary's Central High School. During this time I taught two lessons on resumes and college readiness. The lessons allowed for students to take their learning into their own hands with guidance from me.
